17. Cranberries
While cranberries are mostly native to North America, they are also grown in Canada and Chile. They are considered a superfood since they are full of antioxidants and nutrients. Moreover, the nutrients in cranberries have been linked to lower the risk of urinary tract infection (UTI), prevent particular types of cancer, decrease blood pressure, and improve immune function. They also contain plant compounds that fight against free radicals, helping the kidneys do their work to protect the body from harmful disease, keeping them healthier and functioning well.
