ARE EGGS REALLY BAD FOR THE HEART?

Medical News Today

Egg yolks contain a lot of cholesterol. Because of this idea, the old recommendation has been to avoid eggs if you want a healthy heart.

However, recent studies have proven that the cholesterol in the human body is mainly made by the liver, and not much coming from the diet. Furthermore, the cholesterol from the diet is not even coming from cholesterol in the diet, it’s coming from the saturated fat and trans fat in our diet. That being said, eggs are not as bad for the heart as many people used to think.

If you eat your eggs with bacon and fries though, you should be more wary of the bacon and the oil in the fries.
