Another fruit with many health benefits, especially concerning excessive burping, is the humble watermelon. While a known favorite on a hot summer day because of the high-water content, watermelons also help in the restoration of the digestive system. They have high levels of antioxidants, which aid in your body’s natural digestion. You can enjoy watermelons sliced straight from the fruit, chilled in the fridge, or with yoghurt as a sherbet. Cut a watermelon into cubes, discarding the rind and seeds. Load it into a food processor and pulse until the watermelon is mostly broken down. Add yoghurt and freeze for one to two hours. You can serve these on popsicle sticks too, if you find yourself exceptionally gassy during summer and in need of some sweet relief!
