Similar to dates, figs are yet another fruit that are said to improve the bowel and its movements. Figs are about the size of a thumb, yet just one medium-sized one of these fruits has around 1.6 grams of fiber alone. That means that eating at least half a cup of figs will already equal to 30% of your daily required fiber intake. They’re also considered high in vitamin B6 and copper, yet low in sugar, making them a smart and low-calorie snack!
