Neck exercises may help relieve the pressure in your ear canal that may be causing your earache. Since this pressure may be caused by tense muscles around your ear canal, exercising your neck may target the discomfort you are feeling. Neck rotation is a simple exercise you could do just about anywhere. Start by standing straight with your feet flat on the ground, and shoulders held high as if you are trying to reach your ears with them. Begin the exercise by slowly rotating your head to the right, parallel to your shoulder. Continue rotating your head slowly the other way around, stopping when it is parallel to your left shoulder. Don’t forget to gently stretch and hold on each side, counting to five. Finally, relax. Repeat this exercise throughout the day as desired.
