18 Dangerous Foods Your Dog Should Never Eat

7. Grapes and Raisins

Petpoisonhelpline

Grapes and raisins make a quick and tasty snack for humans. But these fruit snacks present a potential threat to your pet. While it is not yet clear what makes these foods toxic to dogs, they have been seen to cause sudden development of kidney failure together with anuria, or a lack of urine production.

Even a small amount of grapes or raisins can make your dog sick. Early signs include vomiting and diarrhea, which may occur within just a few hours after ingestion. Later symptoms may include weakness, increased drinking, lack of appetite, and abdominal pain. Acute kidney failure may occur within 48 hours after consumption.
