13. Persimmons, Peaches and Plums
Persimmons, peaches, and plums are delicious treats for humans. But while the fruits themselves are not really toxic for dogs, the pits found inside certainly are a health hazard. The seeds and pits of these fruits can cause intestinal blockage, which may lead to digestive problems for your dog. And even if you remove the pits, they may have already splintered, leaving a piece in the fruit. On top of that, peach and plum pits contain cyanide, which is toxic to dogs. It would be better to avoid feeding your pooch any of these fruits altogether.
