7. Symptoms of Stomach Flu
Stomach flu will often manifest as stomach pain, diarrhea or loose bowel movement, and/or vomiting. These signs and symptoms are similar to that of food poisoning, which makes it difficult for most non-medical persons to differentiate the two. However, stomach flu will sometimes cause low-grade fevers (fevers ranging from 37.4∞C to 39.4∞C), and sometimes there will be joint pains. Weight loss is an expected side effect of when the person is excreting more than they are eating. A person with stomach flu will have a hard time eating anything because he or she cannot hold it down anyway, and the diarrhea and vomiting can often be draining.
