18 Different Foods That Cause Cancer

3. Red Meat

William Reed

While a New York Steak or a choice Porterhouse once in a while will not necessarily throw your health out of whack, consuming too much red meat can be seriously dangerous. Studies have shown that people who eat red meat every day are at a greater risk for developing certain cancers. In some cases, the risk is increased by about 20% — especially colon cancer. Try limiting red meat consumption and bulk up on fruits and vegetables to provide nutrients and vitamins too. Save the steaks for special occasions!
