6. Bloody Urine

Everydayhealth

Finding blood in your urine can be quite alarming. Also known as hematuria, bloody urine can actually be harmless, but it can also be the result of a more serious condition.

A bladder infection is one of the things that may cause blood in the urine. The bacteria infecting the walls of your bladder can lead to irritation and inflammation. These may cause red blood cells in your urinary tract to leak into your urine. It is usually painless, but if you start passing clots of blood, this can be painful.

If your urine appears red, pink, or the color of cola, it is called gross hematuria. But if the blood in your pee is only visible under a microscope, it is known as microscopic hematuria.
