13. Pulled or Strained Muscles
Muscle strain happens when a muscle is overstretched or overworked. People can often treat muscular strains at home and speed up their recovery by performing particular workouts. Muscle strains vary in intensity based on the amount of damage sustained by the muscle fibers. Strains can range from minor overexertion to a partial or total muscular tear. Home care and exercises can often heal a muscle strain, but severe strains may require medical attention. Muscle strains can occur as a result of participation in sports, physical labor, or ordinary activities. Early diagnosis and treatment of the injury will hasten recovery.
