9. They are arrogant.
It should come as no surprise that people with narcissistic personality disorder are arrogant. Their inflated sense of self-importance leads to a haughty behavior or attitude. They come across as conceited and boastful to other people. Others may even find them quite pretentious. While people can be arrogant without being a narcissist, those with NPD not only think extremely highly of themselves, but also tend to intentionally put other people down.
