13.  Muscle and Joint Aches

As with any disease that can cause fevers and general malaise, muscle and joint aches can occur.  The World Health Organization lists this as a less common symptom of COVID-19.  The muscle and joint aches are either due to inflammation or due to the stress of shivering mentioned earlier in the article.  

Muscle and joint aches are not conclusive indicators of COVID-19, but they are possible indicators.  These aches are symptoms to be observed and considered along with the other symptoms in this article.  If these aches exist along with the other symptoms, consider consulting a Medical Doctor.
