Confusion
If you have cancer that metastasizes to your brain or central nervous system, then you will start to notice that neurological symptoms along with physical ones will start to present themselves. You may experience periods of extreme and inexplicable agitation, as well as hallucinations and confusion. It may become difficult to recognize your loved ones when they come to visit, and you may not feel completely like yourself, for no discernible reason. Neurological symptoms occur very late in the lifecycle of colorectal cancer, and more often than not appear near the end of life.
