10. Absence of Urination

Symptoms experienced with the flu can make it difficult for you to drink enough water to hydrate properly, which may lead to minor dehydration. In such a case, your body would not have enough water to urinate the typical number of times within a given time period. One way to monitor your hydration level is to check the color of your urine when you do urinate. Clear or straw-colored urine indicates that you are well-hydrated, while urine that is a darker shade close to the color of beer, cloudy, or foamy is usually a sign that you are not getting enough fluids to hydrate properly. In this case, it is important to drink a lot of water in order to rehydrate.
