15. Chills
When not treated immediately, kidney stones that don’t pass on their own could cause an infection. An infection in your kidneys or in your urinary tract may lead to chills. Chills usually occur along with a fever, though you may still experience shivering even without one. It is one way that your body responds to an infection. If you experience chills, especially with fever and abdominal pain, seek professional advice as soon as possible in order to get a proper diagnosis.
