17 Signs That You Might Have Kidney Stones

9. Cloudy Urine

LifestyleAbout

Healthy urine is normally clear, or tinged with the yellowish color of straw. If you find that your urine has turned cloudy or milky, it could be a sign of an infection. Such cloudiness is due to pyuria, which is the presence of white blood cells or pus in the urine. It is more often associated with a urinary tract infection, but may also be a symptom of an infection caused by kidney stones. If your cloudy urine originates from a problem with kidney stones, it is most likely to be accompanied by intense pain in your back or sides.
