Increased Urination
Your kidneys are responsible for making your urine — so when you have kidney disease, you may have to get up at night and pee. This is called nocturia, and it results from the loss of the concentrating ability of your kidneys as the damage escalates. This will usually lead to a trip or two or three to the bathroom in the middle of the night. What’s more, this will interrupt your sleep even more than usual, and prevent your body from getting the necessary rest it needs to stay strong.
