Having a bitter taste in one’s mouth is no way near good. This is something that we have just established. Naturally, you would have to go to a doctor right away especially if that bitter taste just will not go away. Just like every other symptom we have mentioned, body and muscle pain can be associated with a number of reasons too. Because of this, it is also important to know when body and muscle pain is linked to a possible gallbladder inflammation. Usually, muscle pain caused by a gallbladder attack starts on the right shoulder. After that, pain can also be felt on other parts of the body. Of course, to assume that it is even because of a gallbladder attack, one must have other symptoms too. Having muscle pain would not just be enough to assume that you have a gallbladder inflammation as your whole body may be in pain due to intense exercise or a physical activity that the body was not fully able to cope with. If you see the other gallbladder attack symptoms though, it is best to see a doctor right away. Having dry skin may not just mean that you did not put lotion, had to deal with the cold weather, were exposed to the dry hair, or washed your skin way too much. Having dry skin can mean many other things. Watch out, because your dry skin may be an indication of a gallbladder attack. Now, it may be way easier to see if your dry skin is linked to your infected gallbladder. Other than vomiting, the heartburn can also be the first indication of a gallbladder attack. It is difficult to figure out whether this is a gallbladder attack trying to notify you of its existence though. In fact, many people who have had heartburns as the first indication of a gallbladder attack have failed to identify it as what it is. Instead, they thought it was a Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease wherein bile enters the lower esophageal tract, the muscular tube that connects the throat with the stomach. With the bile part of this disease, anyone can absolutely see why anyone would mistake gallbladder attacks for it. This is why it is important to see an expert. Well, when you have a gallbladder attack, it might not just be your vomit that has that color. Your urine, skin, or eyes may show that shade and there is no way that that can be pretty. The reason for this would be the higher concentration of bile in the body. Your urine may be dark yellow. Your eyes and skin will also turn quite yellowish. To further understand it, here are what the various colors mean. Red or pink urine may mean that you are bleeding, have menstruation, ate berries, or drank a medicine that has a side effect of giving you that kind of color of urine. Orange urine on the other hand can also be a side effect from medicine you have drunk or because there is something wrong with your liver. Cloudy urine may mean that you have a urinary tract infection or UTI. Lastly, a clear color may mean that you are drinking a lot of water.

As much as possible while you have a bloated stomach, you must also avoid eating chewing gum or salty food. Do not even think of skipping a meal while you are feeling this way. Having walking as your only physical activity while you have a bloated stomach is just enough.

""

Your.MD

Pain strikes from under the ribs when you have a gallbladder attack, simply because that is where your gallbladder is located. Pain from under the ribs though does not automatically mean you have a gallbladder infection. It can mean a lot of things too. The only time you could link it to a gallbladder attack is when you feel an “inflamed” feeling that puts pressure on the areas around it. The pain’s intensity can vary from mild discomfort to completely severe pain. The pain may only be felt under your ribs or it may also be felt throughout the abdomen and the back of it. Painkiller medicines may seem really practical to take with pain like this showing up, but as much as possible, it is not encouraged to take it as it may make the gallbladder inflammation worse. You will have to go to a doctor right away for it.

Diarrhea due to a gallbladder attack may start out mild at first. It may then become more explosive though and may happen more often. If it gets worse, it could be more than just a gallbladder attack. You may be facing indigestion which is a discomfort you could feel in your stomach due to the difficulty of it to digest food. If it really is a gallbladder attack though, you may notice the color and texture of your waste. It may be clay colored or quite chalky in texture. If this is so, then there is a high chance that you may be facing a gallbladder inflammation. If you still have diarrhea and your waste is not the chalky clay colored type though, we are still more than happy to show you the color chart of waste so you may understand what may be causing your diarrhea.

Just like urine, your body’s waste product or stool also comes in different colors and different meanings. Knowing this is important so that you know your body’s state and how exactly your health is doing. If your stool comes in either brown or green then that would mean that you are healthy and that your body’s state is completely normal. If it comes in yellow-green, then it means you have eaten a lot of fat and may have to cut back on those fats. A black stool can mean that your stomach is bleeding. A bright red one on the other hand can mean that your lower intestinal tract is bleeding. Lastly, a green one can mean that you have diarrhea.

Loss of appetite is a symptom of a gallbladder attack, because it is simply a part of the digestive system. While it is infected, the gallbladder will not be able to function as normally as it is supposed to. It will not be able to digest your food properly. This is because it will not be able to secrete the stored bile that helps your intestine break your food down. Because loss of appetite normally happens when people get ill, it is not really a good basis to start assuming that you have a gallbladder attack. This symptom should normally be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. By then, you may start realizing that you may have a gallbladder infection and would have to go to a doctor for an official diagnosis and proper medication. While you are at it with making an appointment with your trusted doctor though, we are more than happy to give you ways on how you can conquer the loss of appetite and get the right nutrition you need while you are ill.

Like all other ways to deal with health disruptions, one must rest. Once you have gotten rest, try to at least eat a little bit. Small meals will do you good, especially since having a loss of appetite drives you to lose the desire to eat. When eating small meals though, eat more often than how you regularly would so you could still get the nutrients you need. Always remember that you need those nutrients so that you would get to energize your body and so that your body may fight whatever infection. When you eat though, eat healthy. Your body seriously does not need those greasy foods that do not have any nutrients whatsoever.

Feeling sluggish or inactive when you are ill is not something new to everyone. It happens all the time when we are ill, because your body is using the energy to fight off whatever infection occurring inside you so it is given that when your gallbladder is infected, you would be losing energy to just about anything. A gallbladder attack often does not only wear out your body though. Lacking in energy is also accompanied by muscle pain, heartburn, and vomiting. If you have all these symptoms all at the same time then you may be certain that it is a gallbladder attack. Even if there is a high chance of it being a gallbladder inflammation though, you should still have your trusted doctor check you up so you may be sure it really is what you think it is. This is so you may be able to get the proper medication and diagnosis. Again, while you are waiting for the time your doctor will diagnose you, we shall present you with tips on how to cope with extreme sluggishness while you are ill.

To deal with sluggishness, make sure that you stay away from caffeine. Caffeine may keep you awake, but it will not really help give you energy. Instead, eat oranges, spinach, berries, or nuts. These foods are bound to give you the energy you need even if it may be subtle. In addition to that, you can also get some sunshine or at least spend your time under some real good bright light. Always stay positive too. Reading negative stories or listening to really sad songs, will continue to wear you out. It will not be any good for you. Learn to be optimistic, because even that can help you rise to good health.

15. Inflammation of the Liver

Harvard Health

The inflammation of the liver is a symptom that is not very common in other diseases and it usually happens when there is a gallbladder attack. This makes it easier to identify that it may be associated to a gallbladder attack. The reason why the liver is infected while your gallbladder is as well is because the gallbladder and liver work hand in hand together (just as how we mentioned on our introduction). The gallbladder is in charge of the storing of bile so if it gets infected, the healthy flow would get interrupted. This would cause the liver to start to get infected. It can also actually be the other way around, with the liver first being infected. Once you have your liver infected, you may have to deal with it for the rest of your life if it is too late. This is why you most definitely have to get yourself checked up right away by an expert doctor which you trust.

Yes, the gallbladder may be given the title of “one of the less essential organs”, but again, that does not mean that you should forget about it and not take care of it anymore. The gallbladder makes your life easier by digesting your food faster in the intestines. In other words, it pretty much helps with fast metabolism. That is why you should never take it for granted.

In fact, you should never take anything for granted. Watch over your symptoms so you can start assuming that there may be something wrong with your body, specifically your gallbladder. Always remember that health is wealth and that your body can never really be the same with a missing organ.

Let us face it, not many people recognize their bladders and not a lot know where in our body it is actually located. Also, not many of us actually understand the impact of an unhealthy gallbladder on our health. The reason for this is understandable as people do not actually need to live with gallbladders.
