Here Are 15 Early Warning Signs Of Menopause

2. Hot Flashes

Healthy Women
Some studies show that 80% of women experience hot flashes when they are going through menopause. These are explained as temporary sensations of heat, flushing, sweating, and even anxiety and chills that can last anywhere between 1 to 5 minutes. Although they are quite common, they can be distressing depending on their severity and frequency, with some women complaining that they happen several times within the day, or for some, within an hour. Moreover, some women report that their hot flashes can last anywhere from one to seven years. In order to combat these symptoms, women can choose to do deep breathing, use a “chill pillow” during hot flashes, wear looser-fitting clothes, or use a fan or air-conditioning when needed.
