7 Signs You May Have Urinary Tract Infection

6. Bloody Urine

diagnose

When blood is evident in your urine, it is called gross hematuria. Whatever the cause, it could be an alarming sight to see. A urinary tract infection could be the culprit, producing urine that is red, pink, or the color of cola. The bacteria infecting the lining of your urinary tract could result in irritation and inflammation. This could make red blood cells leak into the urine, causing a change in color. Bloody urine doesn’t usually cause pain, but passing blood clots can be quite painful.
