11. Pressing On Your Palm Or Diaphragm
Pressure points are areas on the surface of the body that are sensitive to pressure. It is believed by some that applying pressure on these points can treat ailments that affect different parts of the body. When you have the hiccups, the pressure points to focus on are your palm and the diaphragm. If you prefer to use the palm of your hand, apply pressure on its center using your thumb. This is a discreet method that you could do anywhere. You may also try applying pressure on your diaphragm. Locate the area just below the breastbone, and press your fingers there.
