8. Peanut Butter Or Honey
If you don’t think you could stand sourness or bitterness, you might want to try a yummier remedy instead. Peanut butter and honey are other food items used to cure the hiccups. If you have a taste for peanut butter (and absolutely no nut allergies), take a spoonful of it. Chew it slowly, allowing yourself to get the gooey stuff off your tongue and teeth. This process will interrupt your breathing and swallowing patterns, which would help get it back on track.
If peanut butter is not your thing, you could try honey instead. Stir a teaspoon of honey in warm water, and take it in your mouth. Let the honey slowly slide down the back of your tongue before swallowing it.
