10. Seek Medical Attention
Like with any other medical issue or concern, it is always best to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor or trained medical professional. When it comes to a stye, while many will go away on their own after a few days, if it gets worse, becomes very large, affects your vision, is extremely painful or causes problems with your normal day-to-day activities, then be sure to seek medical attention immediately. Depending on the extent of infection, your doctor may choose to prescribe antibiotics, antibiotic creams or even a steroid shot to lessen the swelling and inflammation. While for others, they may have to professionally drain and remove it.
